Please read the following information regarding the chat room and its use:
The Chat Room itself:
First and foremost your internet browser must support Java. The software will not load if your internet browser does not support Java. For browsers which support Java check your browser settings making sure they are set correctly. Your installed Java version will determine which chat room options will be available for you to use. If you are unsure if Java is installed on your computer you can Check Here to verify Java installation and which version is installed, if any.
The software will load (and is loading while you read this...LOL) and will display the chat room window with a unique Username for you to type in. After typing your desired Username "left-click" once the "Connect" button to enter the chat room. ***Note: Signing up for Free Username Registration displayed below the login is optional and your choice at ParaChat.com.
Entering the chat room itself can take up to 45 seconds depending on your internet connection, your PC's processor speed and your browser type and its current version.
When the chat room is finished loading a Password window may appear. If one does appear "left-click" once the "Enter without Password" button.
You will see your entered Username appear alphabetically in the columned Username list on the left with all other users already in the chat room. Conversations amongst the users will be scrolling from the bottom of the chat room window to the top and off the chat window.
To enter a message to join the conversations "left-click" anywhere in the text box below the chat room window and to the LEFT of the Send button. Type your message. Once you have completed typing your text, either "left-click" once the "Send" button or hit "Enter" on your keyboard. Your message will appear at the bottom of the chat room window and begin to scroll towards the top.
The Chat Room's use:
The chat room is here for entertainment purposes only and will not be used for the following: Racism, Hatred, Harassment, Bickering, Adult, Obscene or Illegal Content, or any type of conduct which can be associated with the aforementioned.
By initiating, engaging, or observing you ACCEPT this web site and ParaChat.com will NOT be responsible for any damages you may suffer as a result of any conversation initiated, engaged, or observed by you or another user/third party in this or any ParaChat.com Chat Room.
Any ParaChat.com user already WITHIN another Chat Room residing on the ParaChat.com network whose "Roaming Feature" IS enabled can see AND enter this Chat Room from WITHIN their Chat Room at any time WITHOUT entering from this Chat Room's main entrance. 100% of the time these other ParaChat.com users are not here for the same entertainment purposes you are which can be recognized by their Username. You accept to obide by the above statements of Chat Room use when these users show up.
The Ignore feature can be used on any Username. "Left-click" once the Username to ignore. "Right-click" once on that hi-lited Username and choose the Ignore option. Not only will conversation no longer be seen by that user in the chat window, but will also block the user from attempting to send a Private Message to you. The Ignore option can be used on more than one Username.
If your chat session disconnects unexpectedly you may have to reconnect with a different Username until your previous Username is removed from the Username List due to inactivity.
Feel free to experiment and set any Preferences to your liking. There are options available above the Username List column and there are options above the left side of the text box window.
If you choose to simultaneously use another Fans for Richard Petty Motorsports® chat room on the web site you will have to sign in with a slightly different Username. If you do not, you will automatically be logged out of the chat room you recently left.
Finally, in addition to the above, everyone is responsible for their own actions. Any misuse or abuse, any type of conduct associated with the aforementioned above may or will result in having access privileges temporarily or permanently revoked without warning or notice. Act accordingly and treat others how you want to be treated. Enjoy yourself and have fun.
